1982 Ventures Appoints Ashley Chu as a New Venture Partner
Ashley Chu has been appointed a Venture Partner at 1982 Ventures.
1982 Ventures is proud to announce that Ashley Chu has joined the 1982 Ventures team as a Venture Partner. 1982 Ventures will benefit from her years of experience in technology, startups and venture capital in Southeast Asia, United States and China.

Previously she was an investor at L Catterton, as well as one of the founding members at Amazon Singapore leading Amazon global expansion. Ashley has extensive experiences as a strategic advisor to startups and accelerators in Silicon Valley, Singapore, London, and other Asian countries. She holds an MBA at INSEAD, a Master’s degree in Statistics at Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree at Communications and Media Studies at NYU.

She is a solo world traveler who has been to nearly 140 countries, book author, online content creator and amateur musician and dancer. She has been featured on CNBC, Straits Times, and other major media outlets.
